An Chéad Tine Art Gallery is now taking submissions for The Kilkenny Portrait Show 2025, where Ireland’s most exciting artists capture the human spirit in bold and unexpected ways. Selected by Bernadette Kiely, this exhibition is a must-see celebration of contemporary portrait art.

About the event
We are delighted to announce that our next exhibition will be a return of The Kilkenny Portrait Show 2025, which will be selected by Irish Artist Bernadette Kiely with a prize of €1,000 going to the winner of best portrait.

This competition, which showcases contemporary portraiture, is open to artists over 18 who live in Ireland, including Northern Ireland.
